Wroxham manager David Batch welcomed former Norwich,Blackburn and Celtic
frontman Chris Sutton into his squad for this Ryman Division 1 North match
against high flying Tilbury,,joining his son,Youth team keeper Oliver Sutton
on the bench.
Matt Blake and Ross Durrant replacing Jamie Speller and Angelo Harrop in
the starting line-up that went so close in Tuesday's FA Trophy match at
home to Ryman Premeir side Canvey Island.
The game was just a minute old when Wroxham were awarded a
free-kick, Remy Gordon's shot was saved by Mark Parker
in the Tilbury goal.
The first 20mins or so were a scrappy affair with neither side able to find
a clear-cut opening.
But it was Tilbury who broke the deadlock on 24mins when from a
free-kick on the edge of the box Docker's no'3 AARON WATERS drove his kick
into the Yachtsmen net.
The play would be end to end for the remainder of the first half with much of
the play being played out in midfield where Wroxham captain Gavin Lemmon
was playing a prominant role.

The second half was only 2mins old when there was drama in the Wroxham
penalty area.
Tilbury had the ball in the Wroxham net but Referee James Turner disallowed
the goal for a foul on the Yachtsmen keeper Michael Hilton, there then
followed a skirmish around the incident involving nearly all twenty two players
on the field of play.
Once Referee Turner had restored order,Wroxham defender Martin McNeil
went into his notebook and Hilton had to be replaced with a facial injury by
Oliver Sutton from the bench.
Following the six minute delay, play ressumed with Wroxham well on top with
Eastaugh and Blake twice going close for Wroxham.
Ross Durrant made way for Chris Sutton to make his Yachtsmen debut on
around the hour-mark.
Against the run of play Tilbury added a second on 70mins.
Again, Aaron Waters the Dockers left back lined up to take the free-kick on
the edge of the Wroxham penalty area, his shot this time hitting the upright
with DANNY FRANCIS lurking to send the rebound home.

BEN THOMPSON got his head onto Self's throw-in to devert the ball
over the Tilbury goal-line.
Two minutes later Wroxham were level, from a Remy Gordon free-kick
BEN THOMPSON sent a seconed headed effort into the Tilbury net.
Blake and Carus both went close for Wroxmam as did Jack Carlile and
Gary Henty for Tilbury with time running down but it was the Dockers who
grabbed the winner with only minutes remaining, the impressive AARON WATERS
capped a fine display, scoring direct from his in-swinging corner.
