It was the visitors who started on the front foot and Gowing was called into early action to thwart a Luton attack.
The early pressure from Luton paid off when they took the lead in the 10th minute, with the ball being forced home from a corner, amid claims from Wroxham for a high foot which was ignored by the referee.
Luton continued to press forward and Gowing saved at the feet of the Luton forward with Kett clearing the rebound.
Just before halftime, a good move involving Waters and Overton put Catchpole clear by the shot was easily saved by the away keeper as Luton held a slender lead at the break.
Two quick fire goals in the first 15 minutes of the second half put the Hatters firmly in charge as Wroxham struggled with the pace of their wide players.
However, two minutes later, Wroxham reduced the deficit. From a freekick the ball went wide to Walker, whose cross was met by Waters shrugging off two defenders to fire the ball past the keeper.
Wroxham pushed forward looking to reduce the deficit further and Catchpole narrowly shot wide but in the remaining ten minutes the visitors scored three more goals with some clinical finishing.
