Pav Guziejko’s side will be hoping to build on Saturday’s performance against high flying Needham Market, where a 90th minute Joe Marsden penalty secured a well deserved point for the Yachtsmen.
Wroxham are currently sitting 9th in what is a tightly congested early season table, with Dereham a further eight places below for the difference of one point, giving promise of a tight affair between the two local sides.
A 2-0 win for Dereham at home to AFC Sudbury on Saturday will give the visitors momentum going into the derby clash, with two wins out of their last three games showing they are finally finding their feet at this level after a jittery start.
However, Wroxham’s attacking prowess has been impressive this season, with 12 goals in their last four games showing that Guziejko’s men will be confident of creating chances against the Ryman League Division One North new boys.
The Bank Holiday derby match is expected to draw a big crowd, with fans advised to arrive early due to busy traffic predicted in and around the Wroxham area.
