
Wroxham Football Club are delighted to announce the appointment of Adam Race to lead the Women's Football team for the 2023/24 season.
Race joins from Long Stratton Women, where he won 'highly commended' in the NWGFL coach of the year category. Alongside Adam, the Club also welcome Lee Bambridge (Assistant Manager), Wayne Bemrose (Coach), Daniel Sadler (goalkeeping coach), Milly Cawcutt (Physio) and Emmet Reilly (Media Manager).
On his appointment, Race said "It’s an absolute privilege to take on this role. We have a very talented squad here and the goal is to build on the foundations which have been laid over the last few years.
We’re under no illusions with how quick the quality in this league is growing and we know if we want to compete we have to match it.
The Club is fully invested in the growth of the Women’s team this season and I’m looking forward to seeing what we can achieve together."
Wroxham Chair, James Blower, welcomed Race to the Club. "Adam was the standout candidate in the recruitment process and I'm impressed with how he's got to work already with the team. He is a young, hungry and ambitious manager and I look forward to working with him to help take the Women's team forward.
With Richard Giles supporting, who has worked tirelessly for the Club for several years, we have strong foundations in place. I am excited to see what we can achieve this season."
Wroxham Women have an exciting pre-season culminating in a game against Norwich City Women on 9th August ahead of the season starting on 13th August away at Kings Lynn Ladies.
