Loan signing for the Yachtsmen

Loan signing for the Yachtsmen

Finley arrives in time to face Cambridge City

On the eve of the Yachtsmen’s league clash with Cambridge City, Wroxham manage to bring in a loan signing from Kings Lynn.

Eighteen year old , Finley Whiteley , started his football journey at Fakenham Town, but it wasn’t long before his performances drew the attention of Kings Lynn.

Yachtsmen manager, Jordan Southgate, who has known Finley since he was a boy, helped navigate the deal that saw Finley move to Lowestoft Town from Kings Lynn for a loan spell earlier in the season.

Finley played for Kings Lynn at Wroxham in the pre-season friendly back in the summer and he featured in the Norfolk Senior Cup tie at the Walks earlier this week.

It is clear that the Yachtsmen’s move to bring in Finley Whiteley benefits all concerned. Wroxham bring in a young, tenacious attacking midfield player to boost their squad, and Kings Lynn ensure that one of the their young prospects gets match time and the experience of playing mens football on a regular basis.

Wroxham would like to thank Kings Lynn manager, Adam Lakeland, in helping to get this loan deal over the line. Finley joins for an initial month’s loan that can be extended with the agreement of both clubs.
