At long last the Isthmian League fixtures are out and the Yachtsmen start the 2024-25 campaign with a home fixture against Maldon and Tiptree on Saturday 10th August . Kick Off 3pm.

The next league game, on Saturday 24th August, is a testing away fixture at Bury Town. The Suffolk team were amongst the league leaders for much of last season and are bound to be a stern test for Jordan Southgates’s team.

On Bank Holiday Monday all roads lead to Trafford Park for the Norfolk derby , when Gorleston are the visitors. This is always an eagerly awaited fixture with county bragging rights at stake. Added spice is that Wroxham this season field two former Gorleston players, Craig Parker and Jacek Ziedonka, while midfielder Harley Black, joined the Yarmouth club after seven years at the Yachtsmen during the close season.

The month ends on Saturday 31st August with a longest trip to Essex to face Brentwood Town.
